this is how i usually clean my ati's and clearo's.

i boil it in water for 10-15 mins.. let cool. soak in water and polident solution, then i tick out the build up (don't really know what it's called :D) soak again for 30 mins to an hour... rinse with tap water let it dry by placing it in front of my laptop cooling vent. dry burn till i see i bright orange glow. apply few drops of ejuice then dry burn again

hope this helps

and looking forward to read more ways on cleaning ati's

I don't understand what you mean when you say I tick out the build up?? The rest of you instructions look like a nice way to clean them.

usually i notice it on clearomizers around the wick and coil area... there's something thick dark ash like build up. that's quite hard... so either i tick it out with a small needle or soft brush.. but doing it cautiously to avoid breaking the coil... done it rigorously on a few so i got 2 busted clearos

OK, I understand now. If you can see the coil you can just do a dry burn until you see a orange glow and pulse your battery button for a few seconds over and over, and it will burn of the gunk and leave a gray ash, without risking breaking the coil by picking at it.
