Cleaning RM2 coil?

I think the OP is asking if you can torch the coil (like, with a chef's torch) without removing it from the rba. It's a good question, I've wondered that myself at times but wouldn't dare try it without getting confirmation that it is possible.

Are there plastic or other temperature sensitive components anywhere near the posts and coil? I know there's some sort of plastic or rubber gasket separating the +/- 510 connectors at the bottom, but I know I could avoid getting that area hot IF it was the only component at risk. I suspect there might be hidden dangers somewhere inside, though.

What does the inside of this thing look like, anyways? Anybody got pics?

Yes I am sure you can I dont see it harming the atty . You dont need to torch the wick and wire just dry burn it with the mod .

Did that this AM just dry burned and coils came back clean as did silica wick, when I started they looked junked up, amazing how quickly and clean they came with the dry burn, super atty going to order second one today. Thanks.
