Cleaning the Kanger EMOW tank

Hello all. I am new to the forum and couldn't find any specific threads about cleaning the Kanger EMOW tank. Do I just take it apart and soak it in water and let it dry out overnight? Should I clean the airflow control valve too, or just the tank part? Also, how often is cleaning recommended? I would assume bacteria will build up in there. Any advice is appreciated.

I used dish soap and hot water, then rinse with hot water, and dry out.

I clean mine with dawn dish soap about once a week, i put dawn in it hot water (i take the coil out) and shake it then rinse in hot water and let it dry
