I'm using Ti coils in a rda and want to learn the best ways to clean them (without dry burning). So far I've been pulse firing them briefly at 10w then rinsing (and brushing) in hot water with a toothbrush. Doing this twice seems to get good results, but I thought I'd ask you folks how you like to clean yours. As always, any input is most appreciated, Jim

which pipe cleaners are you using?

BT, I just went to a local tobacco shop and picked up a couple different diameters and use the right one for the ID of my coil. I build mostly spaced so once they are in the coil I give them a bit of a twist and work them through the coil. They come out pretty nice. One pack even has some bristles but those only work on my 3mm coils.

Thanks for all the replies. I'll try the vinegar and denture cleaner (and pipe cleaners). I was thinking maybe pure grain alcohol, vodka, baking soda maybe? And then there is the brush. Is the tooth brush the best choice? Perhaps a wire brush (stainless or brass or something else)? Just trying not to "reinvent the wheel" here but I see the need to clean these coils every day or two and am looking for the easiest (and safest) method. Cheers folks, Jim

Right behind you...
I use these, works great for 2mm to 3.5mm coils.
