absolutely agree..these things are meant to be disposable..I only clean mine a few times before the wick ends up just too messed up or they start to leak a bit and they go to the parts bin...the cleaning helps after a few days to keep the vape quality from dropping off too soon..or for changing flavors.

On another note..I'm very happy with the performance of the new Vivi novas and the new kangars look interesting.

This might sound like a dumb question, but if you dry burn it this way, is there a chance that the coil could burn the wick since it is dried out?

Also, I just got these a few days ago and on one of them, I noticed that my e-juice was starting to turn a darker brownish color and I was getting a burny taste. I also noticed that the 1st 1mm of the visible part of the wick are the same, brownish color. Do you think that cleaning it in this manner will help with this as well?

I would highly recommend against using a hairdryer on hot & high setting to dry them out. Although this method worked for me fine the first time, after the second cleaning, I noticed that the chrome ring that the mouthpiece threads onto came off of the tube/tank on both of the ego clearomizers that I cleaned out. I believe that the hot air from the hairdryer is what caused the glue to come off.

hey ckimura...I can't be sure why your vapor production is going way down but its a good idea to have your coil and wick pretty dry before you dry burn..otherwise instead of your hardened buildup burning off..its kind of sizzling and could possibly be liquifying that buildup into your wick more.
If your doing this method with a hairdryer..you can hit it with the hairdryer for a little bit..then do a few quick burns to help it along..then hit it with the hairdryer again. repeat as you see fit to get it nice and dry..then do a proper dry burning. but as someone above posted and I have found out myself, if you do use a hairdryer its a good idea to not just blast it with hot air for a real long time as this can melt the glue thats holding that top metal ring on and lead to that ring coming off.
