I did not realize the difference between a clean set up and a dirty one until today... I was thinking something was wrong. Flavor was muted vapor was not as great. I've had these Vivi's for about two weeks just kept refilling them over and over.

I cleaned the post on my smok-Vmax2 and washed my Vivi Nova's and WOW what a difference. Flavor and vapor is 1000 times better!

Thanks to pbusardo for his video on how to clean the Vivi's.

How long do you think I should wait between tank washings? I was thinking once a week.(using the same juice) Should I wait longer or should this be done daily?

Thanks in advance!

i always have some q-tips / cottontips on hand for cleaning my batteries, whenever there is leakage, and always before charging them. I have a lot of clearo's on hand and whenever they taste nasty i just put them in the "washer section", i do a cleaning every week. When they don't give anything anymore, it's cleaning and a new head.

Don't forget your charger too, just to be safe.

I have quite a few of the Vivi Nova's and typically clean them about every day or at most 2 days. I have about a dozen, so it's no issue. I simply take them apart, rinse well in hot water, then throw them into a small cheap ultasonic cleaner (4-5 cycles). Rinse again and let dry. Flavor is always fine and They are easy to clean when not to gunked up.

Nice thread. After a few cleaning cycles on my vivi nova heads, the wicks start separating and eventually strands are breaking off. Am I just running them under water at too high of a pressure? Any advice on how to keep them from deteriorating?

I noticed that strands were loose and coming off even when brand new. I just try to remove loose strands any time I see them. I just rebuilt a head using ss mesh. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet

I've always wanted an ultrasonic cleaner... Now I have an excuse!

It could be the acidity (sp) of your juice. If you are running cinnamon for example. I've destroyed tanks plastic and all with cinamon. I'm glad it wasn't a VIVI though :)

A shot in the dark.

I cleaned 1 of my stardust clearos and now it doesn't work! All I did was run some water shook clean let it dry over night and when I went to dry burn it nothing... Anyone know what I did wrong?

The head may have become loose -- try tightening it up. It happens to me all the time!

A good point for all Vivi Novas if using caustic juice, like cinnammon. You need the aluminum tanks for this. Anyone who sells the Vivi's has these and I have a variety of colors to keep track of what juice is in what. In fact, even for the plastic tanks they have a lot of available colors, so mix it up to help keep track
