Cleaning / Washing Echo

Heys, just wanna ask, if you wanna change liquid to another flavour, do you need to clean the cartomiser?

like wash it? have coffee now, but fruity flavour coming in, how do you wash the cartomiser? or clean it? or i should just put in my new liquid and just keep refilling till it changes completely? i think coffee + strawberry = disaster though..

i read somewhere in the forum that have techniques in washing carts, but its too troublesome to try, some say soak in boiling water then blow dry. some also use vodka to wash. u can check out the maintenance section of this forum.

you can run hot tap water (not boiling) thru the center of the cart, blow dry and leave it upside down to dry for 1-2 days

I always wash my cartos... bout once a week... pretty simple... just boil a pot of water and then throw it in and let it boil for 5 mins... let it dry over night and its as good as new...

I am still a quite unfamiliar with how the pv in general work, but soaking your cart in boiling water, won't that affect the coil or the heating mechanism?

so far... after washing couple of times my carto still work as good as new... boiling it in hot water actually helps remove the residue... i even tried boiling it in hot water when it had the burn taste and after that it was working fine again without the burn taste...
