Cleaning with Isopropyl alcohol

I know everyone is cleaning with cocacola, but what are the experiences with 99% isopropyl, that should take any gunk off an atty, just need to wash the atty off first before vaping again I would think.

Some do it, but I do not recommend it. Yes, it will do a good job of dissolving gunk, but it will also dissolve adhesives inside the atty. I use Crest Health Pro, soak the atty for 10 minutes, then flush with lots of hot water and let dry for a day or so. The attys I've soaked in IPA do get clean, but I've found they die faster in general. Similarly PGA or vodka should not be used to clean attys.
