Cleaning your mod?

So what's the best way to clean your mod? Iv Ben using baby wipes but are baby wipes okay? What do you guys usually do? I have a akuma mod v3 copper with silver plated contacts so I'm not sure haha

I use rubbing alcohol and a tootbbrush. Scrub all threads and contacts

My Reo, JM22 and FUHattan all get a hot bath with dish soap and a good scrubbing with an old toothbrush.

You can buy something called brasso from Walmart for about 3 bucks a bottle. Get a microfiber cloth and dab it a little, use another one to get it dried right off. Rinse any RDA parts and all your threads with some hot water and you're set. Pretty much melts that patina right off!

Wright's Silver cream and Copper Cream also work well for applications like this.

They can also be purchased at Wal-Mart. Be careful using Brasso on Silver Contacts, it may slowly wear away at the layer of silver on them.
