I am new to the e-cig world. I recently bought an Istick mini, which i like. What i am wondering is there a proper way to clean a tank for this? For one, although my current and first tank is still effective, it is starting to look dirty, and i am about to switch liquid flavors so if its possible, i would like to clean my tank before i switch over. what is the proper way to do this?

Thanks for joining us Tim!
Hot soapy water (Dawn dish detergent works great) followed by a good clean rinse will usually do the trick for all components except the coil assembly. Little bitty brushes can help in the nooks and crannies. Make sure everything is good and dry before reassembly.

Thanks guys!

Hi Tim and welcome to the forum!

If the flavors arent too strong, and the tank isn't too dirty, just a rinse under the hot water tap works well, too.

Happy Vaping!

I only clean my tanks when I'm changing atomizers, or if I'm going from a really strong flavor to a milder flavor.
To clean my atomizer/wicks, I use distilled water. I put all the parts and pieces in a cup, cover with water, let soak a few min, swirl water around. Drain water out and leave all parts and pieces in a lint free paper towel (the kind you find in automotive departments of local stores). Let atomizers/wicks dry for a couple of hours or overnight before using again.

All my Kanger tanks so far (Evod, Protank, Aerotank) I just disassemble (except for the base! I clean it by hand, no water), rinse under hot water for about 5 minutes, dry them off, let them sit for about 20 minutes and put everything back together, fill and they're good to go. This mini subtank though I'm not so sure about. Any tips on cleaning that anyone?

I tear my tank down and run everything except the coil head in under warm water for a few minutes. I then either let it air dry or dry with compressed air, qtips, and a cloth. I wrap the coil head in a paper towel to get the old juice off the exterior of the coil head and some of the juice inside the coil. Reassemble and fill.
