Everyone,
OK, I used to drip but I've converted. In my mission to find all the perfect combinations of vaping for me I really love the CE2 dual coil LR carts. I am on the same one for almost a whole week. I'm having much better luck than I did with the clearo's

I have a question though. I have some juice at the bottom of my carto and it's darker than what my liquid is. Is this wasted? Do I blow this out. Do I ignore and keep vaping?

How will I know when it's time to go to my next cart?

I must say I love having this problem I was ripping through my clear ones a lot quicker and hated the whole syringe thing.

Any feedback is appreciated!!

That's common. As you continue vaping the coils will start to become fouled. This darkens the juice, and some outflow from the saturated wick running through the coil will occur, resulting in a gradual darkening of the liquid that is noticeable when you refill and you're left with some darker stuff below the fresh stuff you refilled with.

It's fine. Just keep vaping until you notice that it's time to clean.

I don't use them (I use Boges and get get 10+ days use out of each). But I do know that some juices drop flavoring sediment and I just avoid those. With stuffing cartos it's easy to see because those juices will leave coloration and specks of sediment in the stuffing, eventually clogging it. On atomizers, they leave sediment gunk cooked on the coil and wicks and make the atty need cleaning sooner. One member has a test for "slag" - heat some aluminum foil then shake the juice and drip a couple of drop son the foil. As the juice sizzles away, if it leaves a bunch on "slag" behind then that is what it is going to do to your cartos and attys too.

Dormouse, since I'm new to these are the Boges also dual coil and LR? I'm using a stock Ego 650 Mah battery.

What I call clearo's are the ones with no cotton filling (i.e. you see the liquid)
the one's I'm referring to have the filling in them. Am I using the right terminology?

Okay, that would be a dual coil cartomizer, not a clearo. Clearos typically refer to CE2 cartomizers with clear tubes. (No filler, just the wick, ceramic CE2 cup and metal post down the center where the wires run down.)

However, even with dual coil cartos that's still common. Juice at the bottom gets "cooked" more because it takes longer for the bottom coil to dry up, thus the juice surrounds it longer and turns darker quicker than around the top coil. Still normal. Just disassemble and clean if it bothers you though.

OK!

You're using clear dual coil cartomizers and that is very common with them. I never noticed it with the CE2's as much so that's what I was wondering.

Clear dual coil cartos are very easy to clean-

1. Put the cartomizer on the battery
2. Jiggle it back and forth
3. Slowly pull the clear plastic casing off- set aside
4. Carefully unwind the outer layer of batting
5. Rinse it under hot water until it's clean
6. Dunk the coils with the two little sheets of batting into hot water to rinse them off
7. Dab with a paper towel to dry or air dry (dries very quickly)
8. Roll the outer batting back around the coils
9. Slip the plastic back on

The dual coil (DC)cartos w/ polyfil stay white when using unflavored and some clean burning eliquids like menthol.
When using some flavored eliquids the liquid inside the DC can get darker w/ time.
Does not seem to cause a problem.
As already stated DC can be cleaned back to snow white if desired.
