Clear eliquid

This isn't a problem when it comes to taste or vapor but how come my clear eliquid turns a to a color after a while in my tank. In the bottle it is still clear. Just wondering why this happens.

The heat and air flow probably makes the juice steep quicker than if it were just in your bottle. When you steep juices, they get darker.

Also - certain sweeteners will cook in your tank.

Nicotine base is clear to slightly a hint yellow. Even with age. (Unless it goes bad - then it turns)

Some chemicals do not vaporise; metals; if you keep refilling the tank and vaping, the stuff that will vaporise will vaporise, and the stuff that can't remains in the tank and becomes more concentrated; that stuff will more likely gunk up the coil if it can't vaporise.

When you cook the liquid in your tank, the flavor wicks and wick in the coil get a darker, kinda burnt-ish. I've found this is the residue off those wicks that bleed/seep into the tank so the liquid gets darker.

It's because your wick is gunked up. It's the dark brown goo from your wick leaching into your liquids.

Take a look at your coil. I'll bet the wick running through the center of it is entirely black, isn't it?

Either rewick the coil, clean it, or replace it.
