PG has a bit of a sweetness to it and blends with flavors fairly well its also alot thinner then VG.

VG is sweeter, and produces more vapor. Alot of people go with a mix of VG for more vapor production. But, some people with allergies vape 100% VG because of an allergy to PG.

That being said, VG is alot thicker and the flavor tends to linger alot more without a clean than mostly PG juice imho.
I also personally think that primarily PG liquids give *alot* more throat hit at a lower nic level.

Im an 70/30 pg/vg guy myself.. or somewhere around there.

Well, while we are on PG and VG, lets add another question to this.

Say your vaping 100% VG. What ratio are you supposed to use to thin it out? I seen you can thin it out with distilled water or pga, but at what ratio are you supposed to do that with?

That is heavily dependent on what your cutting it with, the strength of the flavor, and your personal preference.

I dont thin out liquid often but when I do I like it 5 parts juice 1 part water, or, 5:1.

Would definitely take tybin's advice and start slow and find a nice middle ground for yourself.

I was using primarily a 80pg/20vg mix in the beginning, decent th and vapor, however I like the added sweetness of the vg. That being said, I have since ordered some 100 vg and found it is way to thick and tends to clog my attys. I didn't want to start fooling around with thinning etc. I have started ordering 100 vg juice from GP (they have some killer sales, watch their forum posts, last I picked up was 5.99 for 30ml)

Just the plain menthol so no frills, but it does have a much thinner consistency and tastes great (no less filling! lol) During their last sale I also ordered some vanilla, currant & pear, they were kind of weak on flavor, but good base to add other flavors to. I will definately order more when they run their next sale. Just my 2 cents

if I'm using my 100% VG and I want to stay true to the 100% I use glycerin (VG) still. I try to avoid using water to my last resort, and don't keep liquor or PGA (Pure Grain Alcohol) in my house. I'm sure ur NOT supposed to use more VG because it just keeps it thick. So sometimes I just add a few drops of sweetener to the 100%, unless it's something that really doesn't need to be sweetened then I will settle for a few drops of distilled water.

I usually do a 75VG/25PG mix because I enjoy a throat hit, but when buying my premixes I lean towards PG for some reason, then wind up diluting it a tiny bit with VG. Tho I am starting to take a liking to GP 100% VG, they somehow get that stuff to have KILLER TH and I need to ask Rob how he does it!
