Clearo question

I've been using the same couple of clearo's for about 3 months now and clean them weekly. That being said the silicone seal that goes around the cup is starting to fall apart on me. Is there any place I can just get those seals or perhaps is there a different solution?

Very cool that you have gotten so many miles out of your Clearo's.

The arn't too many good substitutes for the cup seal. With the possible exception to something like this...

Probably unnecessary, but I'm ridiculously grateful my fluxo doesn't leak anymore. Now here's to hoping that more than 2 of the next order I make of them don't require me to adjust the battery posts

Do you have an extra mouth piece or two laying around?

I get pretty long life from my Clearo's but it sounds like you have a good tech for making them last.

I don't know a good replacement but I'm going on 4 months with mine and no breakdown of the cup seal. If you're using a solution to clean them it might be breaking the silicone down over time. Try just rinsing the seal with water, if you're careful pulling them out and putting them back in they should last.

I just take the tip and silicone seal that's around the cup off. I fill the clearo with hot water from the faucet and then shake out. I'll do this until everything is clean and the wick is white. After they dry out I do a dry burn to get all the gunk off the coil.

I do this every weekend and have had good luck keeping them running without leaks. The only problem so far has been the silicone seal that goes around the cup - it starting to break apart from taking it in and out so many times.

Stretch em as long as you can, the newer version(past two months) has a weaker coil and the wick isn't as sturdy as the first r5 ver was. I usually get a couple months out of a box but this last shipment , I've been averaging a couple weeks maximum and that's stretching it considerably. I also clean mine regularly, though I take the tube off and rinse. Those tubes that break get syringe modded.

I only took the tube off of one. After the 2nd or 3rd time the tube cracked so I don't remove the tubes anymore.
