I know this has probably been asked many times but I can't find anything about it. I'm looking for clearos that don't leak or gurgle when exposed to high levels of heat and humidity. I'm currently using T2's and also have a couple of T3's. I work outside in the Georgia heat and high humidity. I'm pretty sure what's happening is that the glue that holds the plastic to the base heats up and allows the liquid to seep through. It collects on the top of my battery and gurgling all day. Amazing enough I have a knockoff T3 and it doesn't do it as bad as the real one. I'm using Vision Spinners and they are great. I've actually dumped 2 while kayaking and they still work. Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated.

I, personally, have been very satisfied with the Kanger products. I use a combination of EVODs and ProTank 2 mini's for our stick batteries. I use these while working outside, in Florida, versus carrying my Tesla (much easier to fit in my pocket and not a big deal if I drop or lose one). I know that a lot of people on the forum do not care for the Kanger products and complain of leaks, etc. However, I have been lucky and have not experienced any problems. I do keep them clean, breaking them down and cleaning them at least once per week if not more often.

I hope that you are able to find something that works well for you.

I've been using Kanger stuff, Evods and Protanks, for about 6 months now and have never had a leak. I carry my rig in my cargo pants pocket and it goes all different directions in there, but still no leaks. I've been recommending them to all my vaping friends and acquaintances. And, in case you're into it, rebuilding the coils is a piece of cake.

I figure I should share that Vaperev has Kanger Protank 2 or 3's for $10 right now. There's no glue, and they're glass.

That's the cheapest I've ever seen them, and I picked up a bunch of protank 3's.

The way I figure, each tank comes with 2 coils, and they're normally $3.50 each if you buy singles (not that I do, but it helps me rationalize getting more tanks :) ). So, for an extra 3 bucks I get new hardware to go with 'em. I've found having extra bases is GREAT for dry-burning, especially when you're lazy like me and hold off until there's a few to do. That, and I know I'm covered if something breaks, want to try a new flavor, etc.

A tip on the leaking - I see the pressure thing has been mentioned, and while mine have never leaked going from inside to outside, if I'm ever concerned about it happening, I just turn the tank upside down, unscrew the base to let the pressure even out, tighten it back down, then I'm all set; no muss, no fuss.

Great find. Wonder if the ego collar would be what I need to make a smooth transition from the tank to the battery. I use Vision Spinners and don't really have any plans to upgrade to a mod soon.

The protanks come with beauty rings for the ego, so you should be good to go. I haven't seen the beauty rings in use, but my local B&M uses protanks without them and they don't look bad.

Not sure what the difference between a T3 and a T3S is but I have several T3S and mini T3S and have not had any leak. I carry one in my front pants pocket all of the time. What I have seen is condensation build up on the tip (they're clear so you can see this) and that condensation can be a cause of gurgling noises some times. I roll up a piece of paper towel, stick it down through the tip and twist around a bit and the gurgling goes away.

Someone should make Qtips for clearos!

Any clearo with the air-hole on the side rather than through the 510 connector, will not piddle on the battery. So the Aerotank (or the Protank with an aero base) will give you a dry battery, as will a Nautilus or any of the Kayfun family.
Thanks for the tips! I do have a nautilus, but haven't yet tried it. Go figure eh.
