I quickly discarded(maybe foolishly) the CE4 type clearo's. Went to a T3S type BCC clearo, with the 2.5 ohm coil. After the first "taste buds wake up" time period, the T3 started tasting....muted/weak/whatever.... and I tried/tasted juice on an eVod. Much better, but then I realized that I had been reading about 1.8ohm coils, so I bought 2 eVod clearo's and the 1.8 coils. Changed the taste(for the better) on pretty much everything.

I am converted...

I keep reading that the eVod/PT coils won't work in T3S. In looking at them side by side, the only difference that I see is the width of the metal ring around the bottom of the coil. The eVod head seems to seat fine/tight in the T3S base. It holds liquid(I couldn't help but try), but I haven't vaped on it.

Am I missing something here? Should this not be working?

Is there a flavor difference based on tank size with the same ohm coil?

They works find in my experience.....

I now have lots of coils and rebuilt them. So no longer needs to buy any more replacements.

And tank size have nothing to do with taste. But the coil resistant and air flow makes for different taste as wattage/voltage does. For example.... I find that fruity flavors taste better with lower wattage and sweet sugary flavors needs more wattage.

Cheers.

not sure on the first question, but for the tank size flavor difference there can be if you are experiencing vapor tounge. I personally get a good 1-2ml's of juice before the taste buds go numb and I have to switch flavors. For some its a temporary thing but for me it's been constant for the better part of 3 years now. Same goes with food and beverages, taste is amazing at first and as I get toward the end it's all tasteless.

I use both evod and T3S. I don't mix the heads.

The vape is the same on them, as far as I'm concerned....

I got the new T3D out of the packet today for the "test" (and review). So far, I'm not liking it much. Dull, dull, dull.

The taste on a mini Protank is a little different, as the mouthpiece (drip tip) creates a tighter flow of vapour. (similar to some expensive RBAs with slim drip tips).
