don't be silly, these are the NEW UPDATED version & they should be wonderful,

but then again I like the last version !! I found them very easy to deal with & clean etc.

never had one break with out my help !! Just be careful when you have them apart & dry burning.

Good Luck & pm me if you need help when you receive them & the folks that hang aroung the gotvapes forum will help too.

I tried a previous version of the CE2, I think it was Rev4, it's been several months ago...probably November or December and had the same initial results you did. Every juice had the same nasty taste no matter what I tried, I think I got 2 good draws from the whole box. I to liked the concept but gave up on them until recently I gave the clear fluxomizers another shot and was really impressed. They wick well and taste as good or better than any carto I've tried and I haven't had any issues with the plastic cracking. When performance starts to go down they are easy to clean and dryburn which makes them come out like new again, haven't lost one yet. So it was a world of difference with me between the two, I hope you have the same results.

My first experience with the CE2 was with flux...
My only problem with them was that the tubes loosened on the base enough so when I tightened them to the battery, they'd spin, which would turn the entire insides enough to break the wires.
I've since switched to clearos from MadVapes and haven't had that problem, but I don't know if it's because they're any different or because I learned not to tighten them so much.

I found a way of bringing them back from the "everything tastes the same, and it's slightly burnt" stage -- when they're empty, I syringe iso alcohol through the battery end to wash away anything loose, then I put them on a little thing I rigged up which is an 808 battery connector hooked to a 3V power source, and I let them sit and just simmer away until the coil is grey. I then syringe with iso alc again to wash away everything that's been burnt free. (Sometimes I have to burn, wash, burn, wash before the coils are free enough from gunk that I can see them clearly.)

I've been doing this for a few weeks now, and it works great for me (YMMV). I haven't noticed any degradation in the wicking, and I often chain vape (I can go through 0.5ml in less than half an hour when sitting at the computer with my PT).

I've only had one tube turn cloudy, and it was when I was using a cinnamon flavor. None of my cherry, tobacco, methol, or other flavors did that. It's still usable, but that's the last time I'm using that flavor in a clearo.

I ordered CE2 Clearos from MadVapes and like them so much, I just ordered more. Before using, I snip the loop ends of the wicks, and re-set the little piece of silicone that covers the ceramic atomizer so it gives it a little more room. Love love love them! Taste is really clean on mine.

The best part is when they are empty, you can take them all apart and really get them crystal clean. Let them dry for a day and they are like new.

The only downside is that they look pretty ghetto while in use...like some weird science project gone awry....so I don't use them when showing my cool new ecigs to people just seeing them for the first time. :)

The one thing I can't get my head around is taking them apart. I worked with hydraulics enough years to know that you don't disturb a seal (o-ring, gasket, or press-fit) if it isn't leaking. It'll never be quite right again.

I'm reminded of my '66 Olds Toronados (I've had several over the years). You can tell if the engine has ever been touched by looking for the outward indications of a head gasket. The engines were assembled without one, and as long as you never take off the heads, they're as tight as you could possibly want. Once you pop off the head for any reason, no amount of machining or planing is going to get the surfaces straight, flat, and true enough to again mate without the need for a gasket.

When it comes time with a CE2 that I need to take out the seal or pull off the tube, it gets completely disassembled and parted out into my junk box.

I just got CE2 Clearomizers from myvaporstore.com. Not a 'perfect' product yet...but I'm loving how easy they are, and mine all vape great with my current collection of flavors!

Strong cinnamon flavors will eat the clear tubes to bits! I had one start to crumble on day 3 with a really spicy cinnamon flavor. The good news is this...a 3ml syringe is the perfect size tube to replace the prefab one. All I did was cut the needle end down to the length I wanted, shoved the plunger end on the CE2, and it works even better (slightly more room inside).

This is not direct dripping...but it's as close as I've been able to get without finding a bottom feeding mod like the REO!

Fill it and vape...doesn't get any easier than this :)

Later I'm going to pick up a much larger syringe and build a tank. It's a 10 minute operation.

Also on flavor...I've experimented with tube length a bit using 3ml syringes. Longer tubes makes the hits cooler on my 2.4ohm set...but it also thickens the flavor quite a bit.

With slight juice adjustments...this could could be the best all around fill it and vape option out right now that's easy and inexpensive to get your hands on.

im loving mine. i had to get kr808s with an adapter to try them, and i managed to get some 510 XLs in a trade

i love the XLs on my ego. with the cone on it covers them good, but you have enough of the clear section to tip upside down and see how much is left in it. they popped on my second vape on my 6v prodigy, so its a ego only carto now. wish i gotta lower ohm... next time

oh yeah, i had one of the kr808s fall apart in my pocket on the prodigy. another thing fixed by using it on the ego. the cone keeps stress off the base of the carto
