Clearomizer Filling Problem

I just bought a clearomizer because I thought it would help me with a problem. My problem is that I overfill my ego cartomizer too many times and it clogs the air tube in a couple of days thus rendering the cartomizer as useless. I have gone through 3 cartomizers in 1 week. To correct this I bought a clearomizer. I was told I would see the juice level as it was being filled. Well, this did not happen. I put 60 drops in the clearomizer and I can not see the level. I just see liquid around the clearomizer in the upper area .... I don't know what to do now. Does anybody know how to fill clearomizers so that the level can be seen?

We'll need a little more information. Different clearomizers are filled different ways. Could you perhaps provide us a link to the one you got? That would help us narrow down the problem and, hopefully, provide a solution.

I'm guessing you have not put enough in it yet I know but that link says those hold 5ml & there are aprox. 20 drops to a mil & you said you did 60 drops which would be about 3 ml....add some more !

and in reference to your air tube problem ...
air tubes can always be "blown out" just use a tissue or something at the open end & blow thru mouth piece ...while off battery of course that is how you get rid of excess when you think you may have overfilled & are gurgling....

another thought is that it is easier to fill these with a syringe so you can get the juice down in there better ....just work needle down into filler & squirt ...filling from the bottom ...up , faster than waiting on drips to absorb down in to filler ....

You should try the "wicked carto's* NO filler" they are so much faster & easier to deal with & NO BURNING of filler ....& are cleanable & some have replaceable coil heads so you don't HAVE to keep buying whole new units ....

* IE: Stardusts, mini vivi novas etc....

I'm going to agree with Kelley, here. If I had to guess, I'd say that you probably just haven't put enough in to see it in the filler. I would also recommend a no filler clearo. Some examples are:

Vision Stardust

Phoenix Bottom Coil / Top Coil

Mini Vivi Nova

These are just a few. There are plenty of others. If you look at the images, you'll notice that there is no poly-fill material in there. It's a wick. This gives you a far better view of what is in the clearomizer, from the first drop to the last. I personally find that the juice tastes a lot better with these than with a fill material, but that's just my own opinion. YMMV.
