Well, I've been using it pretty much all day now with no leaking or juice in air tube. I'd say I pretty much always store my stuff upright either standing on my desk or vertically in my pocket. Remember, this is for thicker juices that would tend to ooze around less anyways..glad it worked for you Drew, and as it might not be for an all day every day vape I stand by this mod to make you more able to enjoy your fav thicker juices without dripping or a complicated mod..

Been doing this pretty much ever since they came out, You don't really get much of a leaking problem unless you hold it at an extreme angle for long periods of time. as long as you seat the middle ring firmly against the cup you shouldn't have much problem at all.
I agree with you IF you seat the middle ring FIRMLY against the cup or it will leak.

But if you do that then what would be the point of not using the other seal?

thx for the tip. i'm going to do this with mine = pull the wick over the cup. i hate the way the wick is slammed against the sidewalls on CE2's.

i keep my Precise upright all the time and don't use any rings on it. As long as i don't lay it on it's side it's fine. Easy fill :)

for those that use that ring, just fit it into the top of the tube and use the carto tip or a drip tip to push it down to the desired depth. much easier than finagling it down. if it wasn't for the rings, caps, and tight clear tube, they'd be near perfect.

I also torch my entire wick with a butane after a quick rinse when i dry burn and it vapes like new again. it not only cleans it perfectly white, but thickens it back up a bit.

Because the other seal has only a small slit in it and smashes the wick against the tubing and the cup. The middle seal keeps the slot in the cup open all the way and does not smash the wick on the side of the cup, if you use the little seal and not the seal with with the holes in it.

I'm glad to report that I took this cart out all day today and havent had any leaking or problems with it at all. i believe that the spring around the part of the wick inside the ceramic cup does a really good job blocking the excess juice from going into the air tube. The vapor and throat hit using med nicotine bobas bounty is the best I've ever had.

You're welcome drew, that's good to hear. Just to add, my cart was upright on my desk last night and when I woke up it was on its side. I thought "ok now it must have leaked or gotten into the airtube", I picked it up, and it vaped like i just finished the mod. I really am surprised but with a thick enough liquid this mod shouldnt leak at all, even on its side.
