Are clearos supposed to have wicks? I see holes for the wick but no wick.

You probaby are looking at a bottom coil/bottom wicked clearomizer like a Kanger Evod or Kanger Protank. They do have wicks inside where you see the wick hole and if you remove the atomizer head from the tank, you will see the tiny wicks. There are actually 3 - 4 of them.
perhaps this link can help explain some things- there is a difference between the CE4 and the CE5. I think you have the new CE5 which is really a great tank
