Clearomizers + Batteries? Burnt taste?

Hey guys,

I've just recently bought an Ego 650MaH starter kit off mister-e-liquid.com and a few liquids.
Obviously as a beginner I've used it flat out for a few days and thought I'd give it a clean, looked at a Youtube video and cleaned it with water and 'dry burned' it? Now it tastes awful :p
Also, I've been looking into the iClear30 clearomizers and the great reviews it has. I've also ordered five Mt Baker Vapor liquids at 50/50 vg pg 12mg.

My questions are:
How do you get rid of the burnt taste from the clearomizer? Do you have to replace it?
Does an iClear30 clearomizer work on a 650Mah battery? What can it work on?
What's the best clearomizer for a 650Mah battery?
Will a 50/50 vg pg ratio be too thick for a basic clearomizer? Does this mean I'll have to replace it often?

Sorry for heaps of questions guys, I've done heaps of research and there are no straight out answers! I live in Australia and there is nowhere here for information as the regulations for E Cigarettes are unknown to heaps of people, I took my vaporizer out in town last night and people thought I was smoking crack?!

Your answers will be greatly appreciated!

Getting a burned taste happens if you get it too hot, whether it's wet or dry. I haven't used that clearomizer, so I'm not familiar with cleaning or replacing. I've had a few burnt hits with my Kanger T3S, and sometimes it goes away, but sometimes it's just gotta be replaced.

The Mah of the battery just tells you how long the battery will last. If the clearomizer attaches, it will work, basically. A 50/50 mix is pretty common from what I've seen. Sounds like everything's fine except that you may have gotten it too hot and burned it a bit when dry burning. So if you've put anymore juice on it and taken a few draws and it's still burnt, I'd say it probably needs to be replaced. Maybe someone who's used those a bit will chime in.
