A co-worker of mine bought a cheap what i think is Ego-C copy with 650mAh mini usb passthrough with a 2ml pen clip clearomizer, needless he gave up vaping and gave it to me. When I tried it the first few drags( from a new clearomizer) were fine but then this nasty burning taste comes through. I thought maybe it just needs to be broken in, but after 50 puffs or so it still gives the burned taste after the first few puffs. Could this be a bad battery? or is this clearomizer just terrible? or does it take a long time to break-in?

Thanks

Like Ratchet said, clearos often have this problem. In my experience it has a lot to do with them not being able to wick fast enough. If you draw on it several times in a row, the liquid supply just doesn't keep up. And once the wick is a little burnt, it works even worse and it is difficult to get rid of the burnt taste.

Yea, this makes sense and it totally sucks! too bad really because I get huge amounts of vape from it. Sometimes I feel that larger ml tank cartos and clearos are just not worth the trouble. Give me standard cartomizer of any size, or a straight tank system, but hybrids seem to have issues.

I just ordered a whole bunch of flavors from Ms T and JC, I need a simple 510 cart, which will make it simple & easy to try them all, like a 5 pack or two of good cartos, and suggestions? I heard great things about Cisco LR 306's but seem to be hard to find.

I just bought 2x SmokTech 510 DC LR Mega 5-packs. I just want to keep things simple, I'm too much of a noob and lazy for modding. These cartos are supposed to work great and they are dirt cheap, plus u can just throw away if you get a bad one or it dies. I paid $16 for 10 of them :)

BYW Holding the clearo upside-down between vapes does help lots, thanks for the advice.
