KangerTech Protank Pyrex Clearomizer - need at least 60/40 ratio liquids

I've tested the KangerTech Pyrex Clearomizer and as a heads up, you will need at least a 60/40 PG/VG ratio liquid or you will get a burnt taste or strange toasty flavor. 60/40 - 50/50 is ideal. I've tested on various liquids with various batters and volts and too thin liquids just tasted funky.

Personally haven't had a problem with burnt taste through a ProTank with 100PG, 70/30, 60/40, 50/50 or 100VG. Could be the atty head batch you got, but some people pull the center post off of the atty head and remove a wick or two (not the one that's actually wrapped in the coil, but the ones sitting directly on top of it). Never had to pull a wick on any of my atty heads for any of my tanks, maybe I just got real lucky (or my juices aren't the PG/VG blend that's advertised? XD) It is going to be different person to person, so maybe that's all it is. But whatever works for you, keep on rocking it!

It wicks better in time but i do get that occasional burnt taste tho.. Just do a couple of dry pulls and should be good.. If you dont mind tinkering with it, you can rebuild the coil.. I did it with mine with ss mesh and it wick a whole lot better now.. No dry hits at all..

I use 80/20 and seem to be doing well.
