Hi!
No matter what, unless the clearomizer is completely and totally empty (read never been used) the clearomizers will leak, one way or another, regardless of how little or how much is in them. The only question is how much they will leak. I've looked all over and have not found a solution. The closest I got was put them in a plastic container (I'd already tried a plastic bag and all that did was contain what leaked, so I discounted that suggestion as been there done that). To try out the plastic container suggestion, I took an old pill bottle, put a couple of cotton balls in the bottom to absorb any leakage AND kept them as upright as I could the entire time. None of them were full, one, that leaked the most, had just a very very small amount in it, so little that I was not going to vape it anyway without refilling. I'd rather not travel without anything in any clearomizer because I do naughtily sneak vape on the plane (double inhale method). The one I sneak vape from doesn't leak, maybe because it's being used? I just don't know. Should I care less about this? Does anyone have any tried and true solutions?

Hi guy, I've heard that inflight leakage is unavoidable, you work to minimize it. You're on the right track, pill bottle is good - the tighter the better. Top coil tanks go right side up bottom coil go upside down eSmart comes in both styles.
It's all about air pressure, the tank with less juice has more air.
Happy trails - Red

" maybe because it's being used?" I read one guy who said he would puff on his clearos without a battery while climbing and descending and that worked so you may be right about the one you're using.

Thanks...to be clear though, the tank with less juice has more air...does that mean the tank with less juice has more air is less likely to leak or more likely? like maybe i should go either new and empty or all the way full and nothing in between, unless i'm vaping on it during flight? And is full more likely or less likely to leak than half full?
Sorry for the barrage of questions but i'm traveling weekly now for work and it is driving me crazy!
PS...I'm a chick

Thanks for all the responses!
I'm still a newb, dropped analogs and became full time vaping in July. I use Kanger's e-Smart (808d) which are top coil. It sounds like keeping them upright should help. I fly out again tonight, so I'll do a full, partial, and vape on a third, being sure to keep the full and partial upright in the pill bottle, and inside of a plastic bag (probably a bit ocd, but hey, ejuice is too nice to be wasted!)
Update to follow ....
