So clearomizers...

I can use these... the atomizer is built in... I can see how much liquid is in it... its almost like dripping but you just fill and go... and they are only like $10 for 5 of them?? SIGN ME UP!

Why the heck didn't I get these from the beginning? Carts are so messy and annoying!

Heh, wait 'til one cracks at the top or bottom and leaks juice all over your keyboard; talk about messy and annoying!

The older ones I had laying around - at least the mega sizes - pretty much all developed cracks over time and started leaking. Haven't tried one of the newer models...

But what if I like refilled them only like 5 times and toss them out?

You can also buy them in steel, the newer ones have better wicks and are working quite well. You may also be interested in the even newer Giantomizer, the newest batch should be coming in a few days over at Gotvapes I believe, these have performed quite well for me, they even hold much more liquid and have a window in them to see your liquid

The only clearomizer I've cracked was the one that I tried to put on an e2 non-clear base. The base was too big, and it caused a small crack at the seam.

Sometimes you will have to blow out the juice in the clearomizers. It either wicks into the center tube or juice splashes up there and clogs you up a little bit, so you have to blow it out. You also have to clean and dry burn them every 5-10ml (depending on your juice).

I love them. I started out hating them, but they turned out to have the best flavor and the ability to see how much juice you're using, and a fantastic capacity in the XL's.

Some flavors heavy in citrus oil or cinnamon will be corrosive and crack it. If you use any flavors that end up cracking the plastic, then switch to regular ce2's or e2's.

You can't beat the flavor that comes out of a ce2, so I highly recommend them.

A ce2 is the name used for the wicking system inside of a clearmoizer. Stands for Ceramic Edition 2. E2 is basically the same thing, some people sell their clearomizers as e2, others as Ce2. It's basically the same deal. They sell Ce2's in Clear (clearomizers) or metal (black/stainless). Same guts, but one isn't see through.

As for the tornado/ego tank system I don't know much about them. Some people swear by them, others don't like them. They do nold more liquid than a regular clearomizer, but not as much as the XL version of the clearomizer and ce2. I heard that the tank system does taste good, but it can be leaky and get gunked up quickly (both also happen with the clearomizers occasionally)
The difference is that the tank atomizer and cartridges are expensive. About $5-8 more than the clearomizer XL's. I'd recommend the ce2 or clearomizer over the tank system, but that's just me. If you clean and dry burn your clearomizers regularly (very easy to do) they will last you a long long time, and they do seem to work better the longer you use them.

Good luck in your decision.

Yes the atomizer and cart are the same unit just like any cartomizer.

Yes you can see how much liquid is in it.

As far as being like dripping. Nothing beats the flavor of dripping but the new revisions are much better than older ones...hated those. The newer ones taste as good or better than any other carto I've tried.

They are also easy to clean and can be used over and over. The atty portion seems very durable, I haven't popped one yet and I've put it through it's paces.

The clear ones are fragile and some have reported them developing cracks with different juices although I've never had that problem. I have had a couple that came with cracks but so far I haven't had any develop cracks with usage. If your looking for something more durable for on the go the CE2 comes in steel also. Get a pack of each and see which you like better.

Got the latest XL Clear Fluxomizers from Madvapes a couple days ago. Loaded one up with my 50/50 Cinnamon Mist. All my earlier versions developed hairline cracks. But, have vaped one XL Clearo for two months w/no leaks. This latest version, fat wick, thicker tube, seems to be wicking very well and no cracking so far. Longevity remains to be determined. JMHO

imo, just order some boge 510 cartomizers (liquidxpress, madvapes, vaporkings) and move on. I have tried early versions of clearos... FAIL (Nasty taste wouldn't go away). Not to sure about the latest edition. As far as the tankos go, be prepared to keep messing with them. Learn to remove the spike/adjust wick/clean atty, and you may enjoy them (1/2 my friends hate them, 1/2 swear by them).

I just discovered today that Got Vapes also sells five packs of Clearomizer Tubes only. I think the XL five pack is about $2.49. I have Clearomizers and Fluxomizers going back from when they were introduced. I only used one (I'm really busy, with little time to play and my Reos are the most dependable and easiest to use.) and it did crack after first use. I'm certainly going to get some of the spare tubes whether I use them or give them away. I have the MAP and Storm tanks in regular and mini sizes. To me, they are not the most attractive but certainly allow full flavor of juices.

MWA.... I just started using one of the 1st generation Giantomizers tonight although I've had them for weeks. Not bad. Thanks for the hint to do the electric tape. Just did it and it does improve the draw. Anyone who doesn't like them because of airiness..... the tape helps to tighten the draw some. I haven't had any leaking after about four hours of use.

BTW.... anyone... I clean any atty/or carto before using either by boiling/drying/dry burning (not filler cartos) or soaking with PGA, etc.... before using so I can't make many comments about off taste. I just assume that anything will have primer which makes me want to puke.

I've, also, had good luck with the T-tanks. They are a nice change up if you like different vaping experiences. I have a good collection of mods but not as many as MWA. I think I have more Reos than he does though. DH and I have twelve and will have a bunch more when Rob starts selling the Mini Woodvils. I'll say it again..... bottom feeders are just so easy and hard to beat for "least amount of hassle" and user friendliness, especially if you have the best..... Reos.

{edit} I'm really looking forward to the steel and titanium Giantomizers. (I gave all our 650 black manual eGos to a friend. I kept the one auto black battery as a holder for doing things like cutting steel E2 carts down.) And Pink ones to go with my blinged out Pink 900 batteries. I don't wear jewelry but my Pink eGo batteries do.

I just got some clearomizers and CE2s today. I'm finding so far that VG doesn't wick in the clearomizers at all. But PG juices are really nice and smooth. As for being like dripping, it's not. When I dripped PG on my LR 510 attys from eastmall, I couldn't handle it. It felt like it was going to kill me. I thought it was the juice that was bad. Now I'm thinking it was the attys.

Sadly, I cracked my first clearomizer when screwing it on to my eGo. The threads aren't perfect. My second one was DOA, and never fired. Round 3 was a winner though.

Honestly, if you're curious about a product, there's no harm in giving it a shot. Especially when it's so inexpensive.

I like clearomizers, but the XL's don't wick well. I have 5 of each and have had 2 XL's crack and one regular length. But with that said..my new most favorite thing is this, the dual coil cartomizer One vendor has a warning about not using them with Ego batteries, but I've been using them non stop on ego batteries since I bought them with no problem at all.

I tried one and it tasted horrible and haven't mustered up the determination to attempt it again. I don't know if you are supposed to clean them before use, but they tasted horrible. I'm sticking to dripping for now. :)

That taste will go away, just chain cape for a few minutes and disappears. Like a new atty, well some atties. I find acme have a weird taste until I break them in, no cleaning for me just vape off the weird taste.
