I got a long wick clearomizer and i love it. So i bought another one. When it arrived it had a short wick but i thought i'd give it a go. The desciprion didn't specify but i thought i'd get the same as i got the first time. Well to be honest the short wicks are not nearly as practical as the long wicks because i have to keep tipping the clearomizer up to soak up the fluid. It gets a little annoying when the liquid gets low. Anyone here feel the same as i do about short wick clearomizers ?

I bought 8 more short wick vision v2 after trying one in July......they didn't bother me. And they can be taken apart, rebuilt and longer wick added if thats what you like.

Though i do now have a vision v3 rebuildable but don't have this problem with it. God knows what possessed manufacturers to make short wicks !

I do not know how founded in accuracy it is but- most of the devices used short wicks first and the belief is/was that a longer wick when submerged in a half full tank(more or less) will wick certain ingredients faster then others, thereby not giving you the full rich mixed flavor of the juice. I use both types (some of the things i try/use dont offer a choice) and really dont see much difference.

but what do i know I vape 0nic pure vg when Im bored to see how much vapor I can make in one draw. lol

Never did that; so are you getting a lot more vapor?

after getting dry hits on every long wick I have tried I started trimming down all my wicks and the dry hits stopped ...I think the only reason I stopped getting dry hits with the short wick is because I now make sure I dip and roll the clearo every 2nd or 3rd hit and with long wicks I never did ....I notice no difference in the flavors that I use with one or the other

In regards to vendor descriptions:

Ordered a Kanger 2 which in the picture showed a long wick. Received short wicks which I didn't think I would like it but in fact they are not too bad. May be dreaming but I thought the flavor was punched up a bit. All good of course and when I asked the vendor why I received something different than from the website photo he admitted the following: (abbreviated and edited for relevance)

"Here's the tough part about being in this business - I never know
*exactly* what I'm getting. Don't get me wrong - these are
real-branded products 100%. You know me (I think) well enough to know
I don't sell garbage like so many other retailers choose to do. My
tanks are from Kanger. They send what they send - current batches,
every time. Honestly, a great partner to work with. My atty heads are
Kanger - the latest and greatest. But I cannot, in any way, guarantee
that what you will receive will look EXACTLY as what it is in our
pictures."

I have come across a least a few vendors that send items that are different than what I saw on their website. Nothing drastic and I have kept all the items with no issue. However I have come to learn that merchandise coming out of the manufacturing company to the USA can be "subject to change" without notice.

So how did I get on this rant? Just saying the supply chain from China is not perfect but you just might find something that is new and unexpected that will work great. If not, just request a refund or credit. Most vendors I am sure will be willing to work with you.
