I have some clearomizers from madvapes and some black steel ones from vaperite. I haven't tried the steel ones yet, but I've been using the clears for a while now. I'll never go back to regulars after using CE's, world of difference. One issue I've noticed. Both of the types I have look to be made by Royal Smokers. Anyone else run into quality control problems? I had two out of the ten clearomizers I purchased be DOA right out of the sealed package. I opened up one of the dead ones to see what was wrong with it and I can see wires completely missing. Two out of ten dead is really poor quality control for any product.

Quality control??? ROTFLOL it doesn't exist, the clearomizers are all Royal Smokers re-branded or re-named, but to me worth a bit of hassle. I've had attys and other cartos from various manfacturers and vendors, arrive DOA, with wires detached, missing, made on a Monday or Friday ???

My clearomizers or steel CE2's have ended up with the 3ml syringe mod or Storm tank mod, as such the wicking is improved, and the coils seem to last forever. Easy to clean and wet burn, good taste and good vapor makes me a happy camper.

Yep, get the occasional bad one. Sometimes they can be repaired and used anyway, sometimes not. I still keep the bad clearos around for spare sleeves, as the sleeves usually go bad long before the atty does in my experience. Also, the little silica ropes come in handy for various projects where you need fire proof string/rope :)

I'm pretty sure the steel ones are the same as the black ones. Black just has a sticker around it. I could be wrong...haven't ordered any yet but it would make sense.

Well. . .their longevity has been determined in my experience. They're just not up to my Cinnamon juice. I just sent this message to GotVapes

Hi, just wanted to let you guys know that the new FluXomizer CE2-X CLEAR NoTint 510 XL 1.8ml 2.6-2.8ohm Carto's still develop cracks at the batt connector end. I vape only 50/50 Cinnamon ejuice. This time it was FreedomSmokesUSA Cinnamon Ceylon 18mg. I'm going to suspend ordering any XL Clearo's until the mfg gets this resolved satisfactorily.

Cheers,

otrpu

The RoyalSmokers website says that anything with a PH over 7 can destroy these tubes. They suggest using the metal ones for such liquids.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking volcano in any way shape or form.

No worries. I didn't take that away from your statement. I'm actually just looking for alternatives to the Inferno. I've gotta find 'something' to spend my monthly allowance on... and I'm not sold on those huge mods just yet.

The o-ringed cone would most likely fit on a regular ego but I don't see a regular ego cone fitting on the inferno.

Unfortunately, the cone slips over the o-ring that sits on the battery... so no threads on the cone, no threads on the batt

Maybe their clear-o's are the same as gotvapes or someone else's v4/5 but I doubt it. I still would buy my ceramic cartos elsewhere.

As far as I can tell, these have ceramic cups, grooved silicone caps, white end plugs and looped silica rope.

Speaking from my own limited experience and the experience of my friends and family-we all love the tanks. The tankomizers are more expensive at $12 and a pack of blank tanks is $4. But so far-none of us has any complaints and we have all been smoke free.

what kind of tankomizer was it and could i ask where you got it from? (looking for alternative juice feeder for my ego)
