first try on fluxomizers from gotvapes.com and not off to a happy camper start. I've gotten over my syringe phobia the past week usin ego atomizers--(half the reason i want to cut down on dripping is the hassles i get at work being typed as a druggie--now if i show up with a needle...) ok i have the idea, stick a tiny little needle into a tiny little hole and fill. Ok did that until it started oozing out all over (maybe 1.1 ml in something they said to put .8. two or three puffs and its dry and tasteless. Ok better go search the forum and find out what you do next...ok take ofd the last seal don't take off the last seal fluff up the wick don't mess with the wick.. etc.

i'm trying to visualize this (i've watched 2 you tube videos of clear ones but i think a fluxomizer is an opaque clearomizer right?) ok i look at the box again and it looks like iv've got 2.6-2.8 ohms--oops should have read the forum and then ordered...the lower resistance ones are short-lived and problematic..(hey everyone is singing praises of 2.0 LR atomizers on other threads...i though 2. would be average.)
well anyway i thinkits filled but it tastes empty.... have i wasted 15 minutes and it's worth trying again or should i loosen a seal
ive alread removed the mouth piece stopper and the 2nd seal (is this bergman) and wonder if i should remove, poke or abuse the 3rd seal..o ring thing in there?

Been vaping on and off (about even) for a year. Most satisfactory stretch was primarily dripping a 510 and using PTB fill on carts first a mega 510 bat then an ego. I've gotten pretty sick of the dripping and the low capacity carts so i'm on to new territory. F

My experiences with the Clearomizers are good and bad. I am new to vaping and using Clearomizers. If anything doesn't sound right in this post, please point it out. I am still learning.

I like the Clearomizers because I can see how much juice is inside. Maybe once I become a professional at sensing when I am out of juice I can use the other version.

I bought a pack of 5 2.4ohm clearomizers. These I found to be too small. I would have prefered the XL version. However I believe them being too small was attributed to the intense vaping I was doing. Due to their size I decided to prefill them the night before work. Then take them with me so as I run out I can easily plop in another. (better than employees seeing me with a needle). This method didn't seem ideal because the juice didn't seem as fresh in the morning and it seemed a little thicker. Some mentioned this is because I am using 100 VG juice.

I used the pack for a full week. My method of cleaning them was to take them apart, tube and everything. I have found that by taking them apart that I have somehow weakened them. That or the combination of letting the juice sit in them for long periods of time has weakened them. Now all of them are cracking at the top when I try to take out that inner rubber seal.

I have been using several different juices so it could be one of them is weaking the tube more than the others.

I also believe that someone how through continually washing them in hot water that I have weakened the absorbency of the wicks. This might be my imagination though.

I also have the XL version but at 3.0ohm. I am vaping at 3.7v on both types. Due to my intense vaping I preferred these longer ones but just like the regular version these too have cracked over time.

Based on this thread I believe letting liquid sit in these things for extended periods of time causing the tubes to weaken. Can someone confirm this ?

In a nutshell I used 10 clearomizers in a week and they are just now falling apart. I've just placed an order for another pack of XLs that I will be getting tomorrow. My plan with them is as follows:

1. Don't take them a apart but at least dedicate each one to a particular flavor or related flavor. So as they empty I can blend in some more.

2. Make sure the inner rubber seal is put down just enough to establish a seal.

3. Try not to let liquid sit in them for extended times. (won't prefill all of them when I first get them).

4. Stop vaping to intensely. I believe I am getting down to a consistent pattern on the vaping.

5. Research the 3ml Syringe type mod or MAP Tank option.

Sucks that you had a bad experience with them. I use an insulin syringe with an 18 guage 1 inch needle to draw up my preferred juice and fill. That 18 guage slides right down the side, and only takes seconds to fill. Then I pop the inside soft top back on, slip a drip tip on that for a mouth piece, screw into a battery and voila. I haven't broke one yet.

I have had ONE (that i've used over and over, and over) leak out the bottom where the battery screws on. I eventually figured out that there is actually a tiny clear plastic ring on there that had broke in half. ah well, I threw that particular xl fluxomizer away.

I just got my first CE2s in the mail today. The only difference in the CE2 & the Fluxomizer is that the CE2 has a middle plastic piece in the top, and inside the clear part is a black mechanism in the middle. The hit, vape, flavor & filling experience has been the same for me.

Trust me, I NEVER would have figured anything out about these things unless I had watched a few youtube videos first. Don't give up yet, these little xl babies really rock on a 510!

I have had a number of problems with the clearomizers so I may as well just list them out

Pro's:

Fantastic taste and vapor (for the most part, see below)
Only carto where you can see how much juice is in there
Very very easy to clean (I use needle nose pliers to get the silicone "fill cap" off, just pinch and gently pull)
Great concept.

Cons:

Fragile as hell!! They come off of their base if you're not VERY careful, also the wires can easily come loose from their solder connections and the cup assembly (wick, cup and all of the heatshrink below tend to come loose from the center tube)
The 2.4-.6ohm REGULAR sized v4's had an odd piece of heatshrink on them that MADE EVERYTHING TASTE LIKE PLASTIC!!!
The XL's leak/flood if stored sideways or battery side up. I may be able to fix this at some point and Stormy's Storm tank uses the cup of the extra rubber tips to cover the ceramic cup. Seems good in theory.
They NEED to be dry burned after about 3ml is pumped through or the coil will be too gunked up to work properly.

What I've found so far is that in the regular size ce2's, the extra piece of heatshrink can be sliced off and the plastic taste goes away. Also if you use one of the extra pieces in a regular carto (some cartos have a 2nd cap under the main hard/softcap) as a buffer between the fill cap and the mouthpiece cap, they're less likely to leak.

I have ONE regular clearo that works like a charm and tastes amazing. Two broke at the wires, One wick fell to pieces, and one works, but tastes like plastic (very light taste, but noticeable).
I have THREE working XL's but they all flood very very easily.

Great concept, best cartos that you can use with a thicker VG liquid, just full of minor flaws that don't work well with people like me that just want to fill it, put it in my ego case, and go. That's it. End rant.

I used one XL 2.9 ohm Clearo for more than a month. Only reason I switched to another is because it finally started spinning on the batt connector. I ain't a likin what I'm a hearing about all the problems others are having with these things. Hopefully the manufacturer will tend to this problem quickly. Wish to hell they'd get it solved and allow me to send a gross of um back for exchange. JMHO

Cheers,

I just received my ce2 XL from volcano today and I have to say very impressed, first thing i did was take it apart getting good at this now.
filled with my favorite juice from Mrs T's got the wick good and wet primed the ends of the wick and then put it back together. Amazing vapor just ordered 3 more today love them.
I have tried all the ego tanks they are nice but seem to clog and very hard to draw from.
still looking for a map tank but every one is sold out at this time, any one know where I could find one let me know thanks

I don't understand why people would want to take the wick off or cut it off. If you cut it off, then you are literally going to be tilting your device for every draw. It doesn't make sense to me.
Mine wicked perfectly, maybe that's why.
I've used 20/80 pg/vg juice and it works fine, but 100% VG does not wick so well for me.
