Clearomozer instead cartomizer

Hello!!
I 've seen some clearomizers (CE2 f.e.) that, I think, have the size and shape of a cartomizer...
The question is: can I use a clearomizer in a tank instead of a cartomizer??

The clearomizers are technically tanks, they're just not gigantic.

A clearo-head won't fit in a carto tank though, and if it did, it wouldn't work right, you would probably have tons of leaking issues. The carto-tanks are designed to be used with cartomizers, the O-rings create a seal around the carto's body to keep the liquid in. A clearo wouldn't work that way.

If you do a search for CE-2 tanks (MAP tank) you will find an abundance of threads on ecf about them. They use to be quite common, but have now kinda given way to the ViVi Nova tanks you see everywhere.
