So I have read pleantly of threads on liquids that crack tanks (many). I'm still a newbie and was wondering if anone has experience with tanks that have stood up well against juices that are known to crack tanks. If you could give me a list of tanks (make/model) that would be great. I'm not looking for the expensive glass tanks but rather the popular type that everyone buys. ie vision viva nonva, bauway ce4...etc. (not saying these work, just an example) I for one have had no issues with "smok teck slim vivi tanks" for whatever reason, no matter what juice I put in it.

Thanks!

I've had good luck with Texas tough tanks from Vape dudes and the same style from Valley view vapes.

Hey Sweetpain: Baditude is steering you in the right direction! I just went through this 2 weeks ago and with His help and Ocelot’s I purchased these 510 SCT-V2 3.5ml Poly Tanks from Vapor Phoenix they will hold up to the Volatile eLiquids! They look pretty decent on the eGo Batteries, Vape Tremendously and at $6 bucks Very afordable!

The Texas Tuff Tanks are based on an original design by Valley View Vapes, who sells both pyrex and polypro tanks. Scroll down for pictures of what juices have done to tanks in the past.

I have 2 of these tanks and for cheap little polypro tanks they work fine, but I don't recommend the replacement cartos Vapor Phoenix sells for them. They appear to be regular single-coil Smoktech-type generic cartos, but are actually CE2 tank cartos. I didn't know that until I cut one open. (The last post is a response from the vendor). They reportedly work ok if the voltage is kept low, but I specifically got them because they were supposed to be 2.6Ω coils. I use Smoktech in the tanks now.

Oh yes, the dreaded Frankencartos, still waiting on one of mine to die, so I can perform an autopsy and see what mine look like on the inside. I got mine from Arizona Vaper Trails though, they had a great deal on the Sigelie V8 and it was the tank carto combo that came with it. Heck of deal though, two V8's three tanks, 4 cartos, a needle top bottle, charger, 2 18350 battery, two 510 ego adaptors, all for 29.99 plus about $3 shipping.
