Cloged air intakes

Good question! With the carto attached to your battery you can see four (on my 808 anyway) very tiny
slits in the metal base of the carto. They sure can get clogged in a dirty environment. I have just unscrewed
the carto and wiped with a q-tip, but this may be difficult in a work situation. I wonder if you could wrap
a small piece of a coffee or tea bag filter around this area to stop dust?

I've had some limited success using tip cleaners for my welding torches. The super smallest ones will fit and get a little crud out.
I don't know how well it would work, but you might try blocking the bottom hole somehow and blowing from the mouthpiece end to try to dislodge any dust. Just a thought. I'm no expert on the anatomy of these devices.
