A while ago I picked up an Infinite clone from my local B&M. It was quite nice and I like it a bunch, right up to the moment I killed it. I go back to the same B&M and ask them for another one. That mod was different than the mod that I liked, the mod I killed. The copper hardware was awful. The pair of copper screws that tension the atty and the battery were of very low quality. The switch was also different and of lower quality. The fit and finish of the internal copper hardware was just horrible, The 510 threads were bad, my attys all wobbled in the 510 connector until I tightened them down.
My B&M is run by good people, I showed this to them and the next time I was in their store that mod wasn't in the display.
My guess may be that there really isn't a company called Infinite, and that the Infinite name is a name shared by who knows how many Chinese businesses, but I may be wrong about that as the name Infinite usually implies a higher quality counterfeit than the usual Chinese garbage.
But if there really is a company named Infinite, and if their business model is the distribution of high quality clones, and their clones were being cloned by another Chinese vendor, then that would be funny
Cheers,
Rusty
