Necrotic said the key word there. CAN be. Sometimes clones are better than the original. Chinese don't mind setting up a bunch of quarter million dollar cnc machines to make parts. I have seen it go both ways though. If you buy a $10 atti then you know the quality of what you bought. Companies like infinity, tobeco so on generally make pretty good products

None of those companies manufacture. They resell.

A lot not all Chinese brands cut a lot of corners interms of quality that can effect your vape experience. Having bought clones from FAsttech etc... the only mods I would recommend are those that dont have floating pins (voltage drops). IE nemesis they offer... you can purchase magnetic replacements for the firing button which helps a ton.

It can vary a lot. There are some authentic that are great and the clones so/so and just the opposite. My personal opinion is that the authentic are not worth the 10x-20x more in cost. Although getting a clone is a good way to step up into getting an authentic w/o having to drop a lot of cash w/o knowing if you're going to like it or not. It's one of those things where there are pros and cons to both, and the only correct answer is your answer not ours.

Just saw the prices on the link you posted. Seems like you really can't go wrong with some of those close at the prices they want. Thanks

I hear that. I'm not buying anything for a c note unless I physicall touch it.

Pretty much like with anything else, there are lousy originals as well as lousy clones. And, there are good clones just like there are good originals.

If it's a $10 item maybe I'l chance it, and buy sight unseen. But, if it's a $100 item, I'm going to hold it in my hot little hand before I fork over my dime!

Hello All, I'm new to this forum and the whole vaping scene. I was wondering what are the difference besides prices on clone rebuildables vs authentics?

The difference is the same as with your clone spoons, hammers, chairs, pillows, spanners, screwdrivers etc.

Got a Russian 91% and a Tugboat. Both clones. I had originally tried the authentics and see or feel no difference paid a third of what the authentics would of cost.

I have mostly clone mechs and kayfuns...all by HCigar, Infinite, or EHPro. Had to do some work with a switch or two on the mechs, but overall have been pleased.

Well that's why it's worthwhile to buy the clones first, then if you like the design in terms of functionality/the-way-its-put-together then you get the original..

There's lots of 22mm drippers for example; and the big dripper top can fit over alot of 22mm dripper decks, so I plan on picking up a few 22mm clone drippers to see if they will work with the bigd top part; the question is if the airflow will work out, and I can't figure that out without trying it out first hand.

I would read reviews here or on other vaping forums on any particular clone you might want to buy, because you can save yourself a lot of money and make a smart purchase based on other members' experience (and sometimes some very helpful pictures). I recently bought a Squape clone made by some guys names Kingtu. Hadn't heard of them before but a lot of folks seemed to be satisfied with the build quality. After reading some less than favorable reviews for clones coming from some other manufacturers, I decided to get that one. A buddy of mine has the authentic and having seen it I would still say it is better made, but if you don't have $200 to spend on a neat atty or mod you want to try, some clones can do the job just as well, or pretty close.

As far as coil heads, I've noticed that the clones of the old kanger dual-coil heads had a higher amount of duds then the authentic. However, as far as mods go, clones seem to be of equal or better quality at mid-high prices, while the cheapest mods you can buy are just lighter and made with inferior materials. With atomizers, some are equal quality and some are lesser, as was already mentioned previously

My brother has used batteries from fast tech for years. He said that the batteries he has bought a few years ago are slowly starting to die. He got one that was DOA but fast tech is replacing it for free.

I bought a spinner 2 "style" battery after realizing my mistake, I bought an authentic one. I'll have to let you know my experience of having a "styled" one and an authentic one.

As far as tanks, I'm not sure about clones vs authentic. I have only ever used protanks and right now I'm using an aspire that I'm fairly certain is authentic. I noticed that most of the vape shops here buy crap from fast tech then jack up the price 5x. I'm assuming the aspire I got is authentic.
