Hi there. I apologize if my thread is in the wrong place. I am curious... Is there a substantial gap in the quality between a device and its subsequent clone? Including both vv (say the K200 Tesla Clone) and mechanical PV's (I.E. Sigelie #'d mechs)?? Furthermore, RBA's? So many of these RBA's are priced very highly, maybe rightly so, but many of the clones are not only perfect look-alikes, but it seems like more often than not, people will say they work great, even as well as the originals. From what I understand, even the high-priced originals are manufactured in China. So, saying something is a cheap Chinese knockoff doesn't always make sense. I ordered a Cobra RBA clone from fasttech, and while I didn't have anything to compare it against, it looks and feels like a much more expensive, high-end model. I was just curious as to some experiences people may have had with clone devices on their own or vs. the real deals. The sigelie clones of various smoktech models like the z-max, v-max, the Natural, and so many of the #'d telescoping mechs, all seems to not just be super popular, but perform quite well. I've heard nothing but great reviews regarding Camrys K100 Empire Clones, and seeing as the mods are very simple and straight forward, I wondered what exactly would make the original so much better? (I am in no way referring negatively to the empire mod.) So in summation I was just hoping to hear a few opinions on clones like RBA's and mods, and I thank you for your time and input. Thanks again, Jason Keenan

Clones come in different qualities, some are better than other, That being said I have a Terminator-c (Odysseus clone), and one of the tobeco versions, The Terminators quality, IMHO, is on par with the original. All the parts are even interchangable between the Terminator, and the Odysseus. The Tobeco version however is very poor quality, the machineing is terrible, parts don't fit properly, and its not even close to the Terminator. Also the Terminator-c looks great on the drawtube (GGTS clone).
Would I buy the originals if I had the funds? Yes, but I can't afford them.
Just do your research, know what your buying, and you can find clones that perform just as good as the originals (sometimes better)
