Here's my opinion on clones, some are great some not so great. Just look at reviews before you buy, you may get a real great deal. I have gotten a clone atomizer before and it was great. So it's up to u

I have many atomizers, many authentic and many clones. Almost all of my authentics work perfectly out of the box. The only one that I had to do anything with was my brass monkey for which I replaced an o-ring out of the box because I thought the AFC ring was too loose.

As for clones, these are a few that I have used for at least a few weeks of regular use (long enough to make a good evaluation):
tugboat (tobeco) - perfect
plume veil (acerig) - orings needed to be changed for perfect fit
veritas (fasttech) - insulator melting… removed
stillare (tobeco) - no issues
454 (tobeco) - positive post spinning
cats (infinite) - positive post broken
cats (tobeco) - no issues
mephisto (vapetech) - perfect
onslaught (ivogo? - orange box)- perfect

These last two, the mephisto and onslaught are what I am vaping right now. They are both fantastic.

i think you should just buy the original stuff as there have been many cases where ecigs have caused major danger to people due to battery explosions etc.. better being safe than sorry i think.

There are some exceptions but in most cases, there are no dumb batteries just dumb people.

If your just starting out I would recommend getting a clone. Do your research look at reviews and you tube and then pick one you like. Get a good battery and make sure the mod has ventilation holes.

I had never bought a clone before, but I did order one earlier this week (I'm camped out by the mailbox...lol). Even though I already have a handful of Kayfun Lite authentics, I was curious about clones and ordered an EHPro Kayfun Lite so I can try it, compare it, etc. I ordered the EHPro brand because I have heard good things about their quality, not to mention the price was roughly 1/3 that of the authentic. I guess I will find out how it is in the next day or so.

Update: Received my vape mail today with the EHPRO Kayfun Lite clone. First impressions were great....nice packaging (much nicer than the authentic), and everything looked and went together with no issues. After building it with a 1.5ohm micro-coil and Koh Gen Doh cotton, and filling it with a sweet butterscotch, it is vaping like a champ. So far no leaks, no flooding, etc. Honestly, if someone would have told me it was an authentic....I'm not sure I would have thought otherwise.

As long as people realize they may not be getting a perfect copy when they buy a clone, but it
may be good enough, I'm fine with clones. I do prefer branded clones to non-branded clones.
