Anyone grabbing a provari 3 in a few days? I think I'm gonna go for it, not a big fan of the aesthetics but i know it'll get the job done.

It is ugly but it's a provari and its new. I like that they have all three battery sizes in one kit.
20 watts just doesn't cut it for me anymore or else I'd be all over something new and provari.

I decided I'm really not into box mods but I'm going to pass on the P3. I sold 2 REO mini woodvils and bought a Wizard's Apprentice Evolved II and an Erlk nano. It's about the same height as my Provari in 350 mode with a kayfun on top, but a lot lighter and I get 30watts, top fill, and a 650 battery instead. I'll probably get another Erlk to replace the kayfun. Yah, I'm going the expensive route but it keeps me happy and the husband likes that he doesn't have to worry about Christmas, birthday or anniversary presents for me!

Oh yea it's adjustable too and should sit flush. Still rocking the magma but your coil crumbled after a couple months lol.

Did you try to twist your own yet or just running straight coils now?
Oh and they dropped the price of the authentic magmas as well. Possibly because of a v2 or whatever they're on... Hopefully it's a new design with better airflow

I did my first ever build on a Magma clone this last weekend. Not even going to describe the trials, failures, profuse profanity used and a down right ugly as sin coil build due to small parts, fat fingers, and bad eyesight but, I did it and didn't blow nuthin' up and got my first wonderful dripping experience.

I've heard a lot of people have issues with the magma and honestly I don't get it. I liked the dual posts. The trick for me was to put one Of the coils in and then bend the leg back around the post in order to run the other one through. Twisted did a review that made building on it much easier

ROFL. My coils tend to be ugly, but work. The real improvement has been in wicking. I'm still using cotton and can swap it out quickly. I have some rayon to try - some day when I can afford to spend the time setting it up, messing it up, swearing and rebuilding it again (and maybe again!). I keep a dripper on a Provari for when I can sit back & relax at home. Real life is a PIA now so the poor thing hasn't seen any use in awhile. :(

There ain't nothing like a good dripper - enjoy!

I had an easy time but only built for it once so far so may have gotten lucky.

Where should I grab the authentic from?

They had them at vapordna but it looks like they sold out. Normally $115 went on sale for $80 not surprised they cleared out. I'm really hopeful that means they're making room for a revised model, but one can only dream...

All that said I think the threads were better on the clone I sent you then they were on my authentic. The 510's on the clones was just way way too long imo. I can't imagine getting a ring on a provari 2.5 to sit tight, but I never tried.

Have you decided to get the p3 Bryan? If you're dropping that kinda cash you should definitely get a shiny new RDA to go with it...
