We just had a checkup and ultrasound. They said the baby is so big that they expect her to be too big at the actual 40 week mark. So we get to induce her on September 25th if she doesn't pop before then.
Oh wow nice. I always say bigger the better but that's probly a guy thing. Being in the hospital for those few days really made me appreciate not smoking cigs anymore. I can't imagine having to leave the hospital campus to sneak in a cig and walking back into the baby wing smelling like one. Sneaked a vape or two in the parking garage I'll admit.
Should we play guess the weight with yours? I'm saying 9lb 4 OZ.
Well if it's gonna be a thing let me tell ya what was said.
Basically the baby was so big they considered changing the due date all together but after checking the calendar they just confirmed that she's just a big girl (like her parents me 6'5 mom 5'10+). So rather than let her get to the 10lb mark they're going to induce two weeks early and hopefully catch her in between 8.5 and 9.5. That's my best understanding. My daughter came out I think 4 weeks early and was 7lbs 11 ozs.
Now let the guesses begin
