Closest thing to Marlboro

Hello all! I have been vaping for a few months, my 50 year old father likes the idea, however every time he vapes he complains about the lack of Marlboro flavors that he is used to from analogs. I would really like him to start vaping instead of wasting money and life on his Marlboro lights. I myself haven't found any decent blends to get close enough to the real thing. Does anyone have any suggestions on great blends?

No, I sure haven't, and I've started trying. 'Bought 3 e-liquids that were supposed to be "tobacco" blends, but none of 'em really
do it for me, although they're OK. One place you might look that specializes in only e-liquids is Welcome to Vermillion River Premium E-Juice .
I haven't checked it out that thoroughly yet, but it looks like those guys take their work seriously.
Good luck, let me know if you find anything resembling Marlboro.

Vermillion River was a good suggestion, but I was a Marl smoker and here's my take. There is nothing like smoking a Marl stinkie. I, you, he have to get into the mind set that it's not smoking, flavorwise. Without smoking you receive some awesome benefits. Smelling like an ashtray, breathing, great savings :D, and self worth after failing so many times to change. Now for me, the smell or someone smoking, ashtrays turn my stomach. You have to have some semblance of wanting to quit, even if it's subconciously. Nothing tastes like smoking I don't care what the claims, reviews have to say....NOTHING. Once you accept that fact you can have success. When I started out, I had to have tobacco flavors......5 months later I DIY Heath Bar blend with Vanilla Custard.....ADV. It changes Caramel Popcorn, Cinnamon Blend....rarely do I use some tobacco flavoring. That's my :2c: Let him read this and good luck to him.

Nice post chimsweep, and right on the money too. Believe it or not, I have honestly quit smoking 3 times (for periods exceeding a year), and used to kick myself every time I'd light up because it was so easy once I had quit....I usually started back when I got around friends at a bar or the like, and they were smoking, and like a dummy, I'd smoke a couple. Well, 'ya know where that leads. I think being an ex-smoker is kinda' like being off the wagon; you don't ever want to touch a real one again.
I haven't tried that many of the flavored liquids, but I'll give some of 'em a shot.
Thanks for a good post !

Try Lucky's Vapor Store (they have a website) Red Label Tobacco. I tried it, tasted and felt too much like an analog for me - as in enough to make me forget it was my PV and not a stink stick and set me to rolling the car windows down even though it didn't stink like an analog, just the taste and feel of it was a bit too real. Maybe that's just what he's looking for.

I haven't tried any but I have seen some juices that claim to be like marlboro

I will say, though it's not cost effective, I tried the NJoy disposable once and to me it tasted a lot like marlboro.

I'll add that while I haven't tried a ton of different juices, the NJoy King was the only thing that actually tasted and hit kinda like a cigarette. The Red was nasty and harsh (it made this 32-year smoker cough with every drag) but the Gold was actually tolerable. Of course, since the juice is proprietary, this doesn't really help you unless your pop has a lot of money to spend on disposables.

In my limited experience, GatorVapor makes a flavor called "Mar. Red". It's a strong 26mg. The taste does resemble a Marlboro Red, but it's not identical. I smoked Marlboros for a couple of decades, so the taste is familiar to me. I didn't buy this particular juice, it was gifted to me. Right now I am using the Totally Wicked Patriot Range PillBox 38 - it has a nice "red" cigarette flavor to it and a decent throat-hit without being harsh. :)

I have tried many e-liquids looking for a real tobacco taste and was always dissapointed, even DIY concentrates. I found many good flavors but nothing that would satisfy me for and all day vape. I smoked camel filters for 38 yrs and wanted something similar. Last week I ordered my first NET e-liquid (Natural extracted Tobacco) from Mountain Oak Vapors. (Southern Gentleman) and (Apache) and I am really impressed with the flavor, great tobacco taste, better that camels. I have more NET's on order from other venders. Looking forward to their arrival. I think your best shot at finding a Marlboro taste may be in a NET e-liquid.

I completely agree with this post.

I was a Marlboro (Reds for about 17 years, then eighty-threes for another year) smoker before I started vaping. After a week or so, the stinkies did start tasting bad for me - I've since tried a few tobaccos and Johnson Creek's Tennessee Cured is one that I enjoy quite a bit when I start feeling like I want an analog. Again, you aren't going to find anything that tastes like a cigarette, but once you do get in the right mindset - that it's not smoking - it should be pretty easy to find something that satisfies the old analog crave.
