Maybe if you can't do a Plane Trip then you could head up Chapman and go thru the Canyon, Turn Left at Cook's Corner and follow the road to O'Neal Park.

That or head west to the beach; I used to be quite the waterbaby. Although, Cook's would be good for business, I could see if any of the bikes have parts I've cut.

I haven't checked that one out, my father lives in CDM, so I usually park at his place and take the poppy pedestrian bridge over then walk down to the tide pools.

A Nice Beach if you Pack Light and want some place Quite on a Week Day.
