My favourite variation of parallels so far is the uneven parallel. Look up twisted messes on yotuube for more ridiculous builds.
I currently run a dual parallel 24ga and 28ga parallel. You could achieve this by using one strand twisted 28 and a solo strand 28. Wrap them like regular parallels, making sure that the twisted 28 or thicker wire remains on the outside of the coil, achieved by giving the thicker strand itself an extra twist to always remain outside. This helps guard against a bit of splatter and spitting.
You could go balls deep and go build wickless coils as well, but that's not recommended unless you love experimenting.

Good luck, have fun, and be safe. None of us would want you building pipe bombs.

Given what you have available i would say twisted parallel dual coil. First you need to twist two strands about a foot in length and cut them in half for a total of four strands of twisted 28GA ( rip trippers youtube vid on twisting kanthal is a great step by step ). 5 parallel wraps on a 3/32 drill bit ( including first wrap) should bring you to about .16 ohms. Now if you haven't gone this low before i suggest you ease into it. Also i can't express safety enough when building super low, but if you want clouds with 28GA this is how IMO. Also if you are capable i drilled out the air holes in my TOBH because you'll need it.Be safe and vape ON!

40 amps is the pulse rate for those batteries. I can't find the continuous discharge rating BUT kidney puncher sells them and states that they should not be used on builds below .2 ohms. That's 21 amps, so I'm guessing 30 amp cont. at best.

Max Continuous is 20A, Pulse is 40A
Attached the battery spec sheet:

Highly recommend getting the Xtar 30A from rtdvapor... that battery is the same as the VTC4s

*edit*
Here is a good review of the Vamped batteries with a comparison to VTC4s and 5s

Please remember that this is the noob forum, so keep it within safe limits. I understand that everyone has their own definition of what is a safe limit. Mine is that I never do builds that exceed 50% of the continues discharge rate of the battery I'm using. So with the 20 amp battery that you have, I would not use a build that pulled more than 10 amps.

For the OP, what are you trying to accomplish? Do you want an acceptable amount of vapor, or do you want to produce the largest cloud known to man?

    add:
If I was to produce that cloud in the Kayfun vid, my wife would say "go outside to do that"! It's raining outside!!!!!!

Check this out.... Kayfun fun at Cloud 50 - YouTube...... clouds from a kayfun!!

Kayfun's aren't known for "clouds" but as you can see it can be done. It's not just about the coil and how low you can get the resistance (ohms) it's the right balance of everything... coil, wicking, and airflow.

One of these days I'm gonna have to do a video with my genesis atty... or my Orchid... you'd be surprised at the amount of vapor they are capable of with the right build/wick set-up.

    I agree...

"10%" would equate to .42 ohm...... Nothing wrong with that at all. I can accomplish everything I want at .5 ohm but I love my kayfuns so I tend to be up around 1.3 - 1.5 ohms and I can fog up a room on a 30w device with one that's properly built.

Which is less than 5 amps. (6.2v)

With 28guage you need a dual coil i would recommend watching rip trippers sleeper coil on you tube. Or possibly folding your kanthal in half and twisting it and making something cool or even a parallel build just remember to check it for safety on your ohm meter before you use it. Rip trippers really does great videos on stuff like that

I agree with Garry1. Rip Tripper is the man!
