With the amount of power it can push, much like the Noisey Cricket, your only throttle is the coil itself. Single battery mechs I suggest 0.25 lowest /w Sony VTC3, LG HB2, 4, 6's (True 30amp CDR)
batteries, still gives "UHOH!" room for problems, at 8.4volts Series, though 2x
batteries, in a series config you still have the CDR limit and Mah of 1 battery, where parallel you have the voltage of a single battery 4.2v, but double the mah and the amp load is balanced between the batteries so double the amps. There is a lot going on you have to understand with box mods. But builds, yeah, trying to keep everyone safe information wise I suggest 0.3 to 0.4ohms on a series Mech Box Mod like that model of Hexohm, beginners I suggest even higher builds then once they have the knowledge and practice tell them to work down a step at a time. Just remember this formula
On a mechanical use the fresh charge of a battery of 4.2, series that makes 8.4volts
8.4v/Resistance (Ohms)=Max Amps of the Build
8.4v/1ohm=8.4amps
8.4v/0.5ohms=16.8amps (20amp CDR battery Safety limit, over 75% max CDR)
8.4v/0.4ohms=21amps (Starting into safety limits on a true 30amp CDR battery, about 2/3 max CDR)
8.4v/0.35ohms=24amps (About Upper limit I would push personally reaching 75% max CDR on a true 30amp CDR battery)
8.4v/0.3ohms=28amps (Getting Dangerous on a true 30amp CDR battery)
No matter what is written on a battery as its max amps, examples are Efest, IMRen, Subohm Cell, AWT, Basen, Vappower, Vamped, Eizfan (all re-wrap companies that buy from the main 4 manufacturers like Panasonic/Sanyo, Samsung, LG, and Sony), no batteries on the market right now do over 30amp CDR (continuous discharge rating), and only 4 of those on the market presently, the Sony VTC3 (1600mah 30amp CDR), and the LG HB Series (2, 4, and 6, 1500mah true 30amp CDR), if a battery says it does 35 or 40amps that is the short pulse rating of the battery, most times they are 20amp CDR, example IMRen Purple 3000mah 35amp is an LG HG2 Chocolate Brown 3000mah 20amp CDR or a Samsung 30Q Lavender 3000mah 15 to 20amp CDR.
