Cloud comp tips

Well i signed up for my first cloud comp today. Its not for another 2 and a half weeks. But I'm just looking for some tips. Currently I'm using the Snow wolf 200W. Im pretty sure I'm going use my alliance rda. Im also thinking about getting a different box for the comp. The abs tank crosser. I guess my real question is what wire should i use. how many wraps and diameter. Rules were no going over 100 Watts if you use a regulated box mod and no going under .1 ohms

Of the gear I have, I get the biggest, densest clouds out of my CLT2+ with claptons. 28 wrapped with 32. 6 wraps, 1/4" ID. About .24ohms. Needs 80W to fire it, but will blow through 1.5ml 95% VG in a single puff if your lungs can take it. 2 puffs in my living room and I can't see my TV.

Is that kanthal cause I was thinking of doing 24 and 28 or maybe use ni-80

Its Kanthal. I use N80 in all my other drippers and build to around .2 - .25 for a dually. But those claptons make bigger clouds than anything else I have. The CLT has the biggest airflow too, and I find it cools N80 coils as I draw on it. Clouds suffer because the coils don't stay hot enough.

I used 24g 28g clapton Nicrome 80 and you will prob need more then 100w for it. Its just a wicked coil. I run mine about 110 to get a good heat off it and get it cooking good.
