cloud9 style 510 auto batteries?

I started with a cloud9 rn4801 and moved on to a 510 on the advice of this forum. the 510 does in fact smoke a lot better, but the cloud9 does seem to have one significant advantage: vastly superior automatic batteries. The advantage of the clud9 batteries is they are simply far far less sensitive than the 510 megas I bought. the 510 batteries will activate on ridiculous and unneceearily small amounts of pressure. Simply waving one around is enough to do it. The cloud 9s won't activate unless you produce a fairly significant vacuum. It's a vastly superior design. Can such as thing be gotten for a 510 and if not is there an adapter or something that will allow me to use cloud9 batteries?

Virtually all auto batteries, regardless of make or model, suffer from inconsitency in activation. The sensor that activates the batteries vary but the one consistent quality is their inconsistency. I've owned dozens of different auto batteries since I started and usually end up buying 10 auto batteries just to get 5 good ones. Some will activate super easy, some need a wind tunnel to get started, most would cut-off to soon. I pulled my hair out for a long time trying to get batts that were "just right".

I would suggest a manual battery but I'm guessing that you probably aren't wanting to go that route yet. The other option is to find a local dealer that would let you go through there auto battery supply until you find some you like. Otherwise you'll spend a ton shipping things up and back, or spend a buttload on a case of autos trying to find a handfull that are just right.

As to the adapter question, there are adapters available at Vaporkings, Heavens Gift, Healthcabin, and several of the suppliers in the supplier section. Problem is that, as far as I can find, the adapters allow you to use the 4081 atty on a 510 batt, not vice versa. Maybe someone else might have a source for them.

yeah that seems to make sense now. I had a 510 auto mega battery die on me outright last night, so I cut it apart with a pipe cutter and took a look at the innards. The auto switch is this hastily slapped together plastic capsule that looks to be stuck together with model glue. I can definitely see how one would get product inconsistency if everyone is using these things. Unfortunately I really like automatics when I'm driving. Both hands on the wheel and all that.
