After a lot of begging...... I managed to talk Lisa into sending me a few CR2s because Deal Extreme was taking a long time... What a great job on the packaging! There was plenty of good information included and all the professional touches she does has excellent service in mind. If you have not checked out her site yet please do. The GG is in a place now above all the rest.

Great Job Lisa! And Thank you for the batts. You beat Deal Extreme!!!:thumbs::D:D

This GG stuff sells so fast it isn't funny, any idea of when your getting more stock of 7.2v atties please Lisa?
Yes, you're right!!!
Only got one slim and one GGT in stock now. No other GG items at all.

Had some batteries arrive today though - the trick is going to be trying to maintain a stock level of all items at the same time.....

Not sure what's happening with HV atties, perhaps Imeo can answer this??

Thanks Lisa :)

I think Imeo is finding it hard to type with his boxing gloves on :lol: poor thread guy

:lol::lol::lol::lol: better without gloves, you feel the heat:lol::lol::lol:

Anyway, I have ordered my new custom atomizers and they send them 10 pieces to me 1 week before to try them. I have a report of the post office today so I will go tomorow to see if this is my order. If they are like I want, then I will put my large order. They told me that they will have them ready in 20 days.
I am making some changes to atomizers, thats the reason I didnt order the same ones. They were very nice as all people tells me but I want something else too from the factory:)

No worries about asking, yes, there is a chance that this will be an option in the future, but I haven't decided who to go with yet. Any preferences?

I'm not an expert, but the merchant account provider needs to give you guarantees that major credit cards from all around the world, and without restrictions (unlike PayPal), must be processed.

The most important thing here is that the payment form must also be flexible to fit all countries, with the least requirement of data to fill in the form, possible.

For example, there are some websites who can't process payments, although the credit cards are checked and accepted, because the form that should be filled for the billing address, includes a mandatory zip code field to fill, while the billing address on the card itself, does not include any zip code in it, and the payment can be done without mention of the zip code. But that's how the server is locked. So no processing possible.

This means an unnecessary lost transaction. And for what? For technicalities related to the online form, nothing more.

Another example, some other websites, can't process payments, also although the credit card is checked and accepted, because some country name, although covered, is simply missing from the online filling form. (Yes it happens). So no processing possible. You lose another transaction.

The thing is, that you need to make sure, to have a filling form with the minimum of data required to fill up.

IMHO, the billing address, for example, is unnecessary to start with. I've been paying in some websites, by filling forms, with a billing address, that is the same as the shipping address, while in reality, they are not even in same country.

And all was processed duly and securely and was fine. So that billing address thing is really not that necessary. But if there is no other way, then get it in a simple and flexible form with the least mandatory fields possibles. (The zip code example...Some countries don't even have something called zip code...hehe)

As for the credit card details, there are only few mandatory data that you need:

1- Full Name
2- Card type
3- Card number
4- expiry date
5- Security code

The rest are unnecessary details that have the effect to limit your transactions.

Actually those 5 mentions above, are the only data that you need. All the rest is unnecessary. So just make sure you don't find your payment processing be stopped or limited, by such futile details.

Now I've been reading around and doing some research to find out a good merchant account provider. But I didn't have enough time to check too much.

But you can get excellent references and advices in here:

Merchant Account Forum | Internet Merchant Account Reviews & Providers

But you'll have to promise me that if you find the good deal, you would explain it to me, because I might need one soon too.:D (Not for me, but for something I'm working on)

And if you want me to help you in searching more, just don't hesitate...I love to do researches.:D

Just tell me in which direction :D

is necessary dependant on how much fraud detection they want to use.

Of course they could always do the basic minimum that you suggest but as a result the level of possible fraud can go up.

It really depends on how many transactions they do and how much fraud takes place in this specific business model.

Yes you're right jliu, the more info are checked, the less fraud might occur.

But I'm rather talking about malleability and flexibility of the filling form, and not about lowering the level of security.

Of course, a partial AVS (address verification system) “match” on card-not-present transactions is enough to prevent eventual fraud.

But only a partial...And in a flexible form...Not a whole locked up investigative sheet.

And even though, the more the empty fields are locked and mandatory, the more you lose transactions.

For example, if the shopping cart is configured in a way that leaves the customer with no option but to provide a zip code, in order to process his order, and he has none to provide, the transaction is simply lost, for a stupid technical reason, and not for any flaw.

And even if he tries to mail the website and ask for a manual fill in of his order, the website owner himself cannot help sometimes, since in order to process the transaction, and send it to the merchant account provider, he himself, cannot sometimes bypass such "locked and mandatory" useless fields. That's not good for business. You lose lots of clients like that.

Leave the fields unlocked as much as you can, and let the form contain as little mandatory fields as possible, and if you eventually need to check out few more details for security reasons, you can simply send a message to the customer and ask him to provide them.

The key here, is just to make sure to have malleability and flexibility in filling the forms and processing the orders. Not lowering the level of security.

awwww, thanks so much, mist for all your research and help in this.

I am unfortunately unable to use nochex due to limitations within my shop software. Additionally, the accounting work for this business model is already huge and I am reluctant to add another payment method at this stage unless I see a greater demand for it.

What I would be interested in doing in the near future is direct credit card processing, although I need to do some more research as to how open to fraud this leaves my business.

I know this doesn't help you (and other non-paypal users) right now, but if you are really interested in buying product from me, Mist, please PM me and I am sure we can work something out between us privately.
OK?
