Recently I noticed my DNA 30 which was just replaced for other issues is firing hard. Its burning wicks in my tanks on 7.0 watts and pretty much melting them to the coils. In my RDA's with coils as high as 1.8 ohms its giving me burnt tastes after a few hits on 7.0 watts also but the tails of the wicks are still saturated. I was wondering if it could be an issue my battery is causing or if this new box mod is trashed also.

How exactly wound you think a Battery could cause this?
No doubt in my mind, if you understand and built the RDA's correctly, you have another Dud Mod.
Question is - How sure are you that you understand everything involved? DNA(clone) does not step down so you will never see 7 watts on most applications.
Battery Power is the minimum output. DC voltage.
