OK I have two cloupor minis a silver and a black. The silver one works no problems but when I take the same battery and put it in the black mini and turn it up past about 22 watts it either fires for a few seconds or not at all and the screen resets. I don't understand why one would fire all the way up to thirty watts and the other won't go past twenty two any ideas?

there are variances in electronics on the circuit boards.... even tho they try to make them exact, things can be different... tolerances in resistors, capacitors etc can throw things off.... sounds like the protection factor of the one cutting off at 22W is too sensitive.

I feel you should be made aware that the cloupor minis really aren't safe to have around right now. Because they are catching on fire, sometimes while charging and sometimes when it's just hanging out. Lithium batteries shouldn't be around fire, and you can google for the rest of the story -- but it's worth contacting where you got it from to see if they're recalling them.
