    No you can't
How convenient is changing out cells in the T5? A local guy has a used T5 advertised for $30 with a busted USB connector. He states the mod works just fine, just can't use the onboard charging. I wasn't really looking for a T5 but, dang, for $30 I may have to pounce on it.

It easy (three small screws) that takes three minutes.

Be careful everyone did the firmware upgrade on 9/16 and there's a lot of bad T5 floating around, I was one of the lucky ones who was able to save mine.

    Thanks for the info!

Yeah, I sort of followed the firmware posts out of morbid curiosity. Can you determine the firmware version via the onboard display? I'll email the seller and go take a look at it tomorrow if it is still available.

No it doesn't tell you but ask him if he tried to do the firmware upgrade(big surprise) and if so what happened. I have the factory firmware on zip if you need it. Can be reinstalled if not the T5 wasn't damaged.

If it goes to 75 watts, it has the firmware update installed and I'd steer clear of it.

    I suggest the same thing.

One comment I'll make: The way Cloupor handle the firmware upgrade by removed it and now will not do another one. I'll never buy another one of their products ever again, I have zero faith/trust in them.
