I just bought a bottle of clove flavored juice. I always liked clove cigarettes and figured I would probably love vaping the flavor too. WRONG! This is actually the first flavor I've bought (although I haven't tried a lot yet) that I can't stand. I've been mostly vaping the Marlboro flavor and like it, also tried Desert Ship and liked it OK although it has a creamy/nutty taste I could do without. Even though I don't find the tobacco flavors to really taste like tobacco, they are still the most all-day kinda flavors I've found. Coffee has been my favorite by far, but I still have nearly a full bottle since it seems to wear out atties very quickly for some reason (if anyone has a solution for this it would be great), it's also too sweet for my taste to make an all-day kinda juice.

My problem is, I now have this brand new bottle of clove and it will stay that way unless I find something agreeable to mix in it.

Has anyone tried mixing flavors with clove? If so, what might go well with it to make it usable? It just tastes like a poor interpretation of real clove to me and it's sickening. Even if you haven't tried mixing something with clove, what would you think might go well with it. I know it's only $5 and I've wasted much more than that on smokes in my life, I still can't stand to see, otherwise perfectly good juice, just sit there and go to waste.

I've never tried mixing clove with anything, but the Tiki Juice from Halo to me seems to have a hint of clove to it. Tiki used to be my all day vape (now it is Boba's) but I still vape Tiki as well. I suppose you could play around with some flavors, the description of Tiki Juice is a spiced tobacco with sweet tropical top notes and a hint of their proprietary menthol. It never mentions clove, but I think it is the spice of the spiced tobacco LOL

I didn't think about it until I read this reply but I think what's making it so disgusting is that it's too much. Maybe adding some non-flavored or even some tobacco in might make it bearable.

Thanks for the input!

Clove is one of the hardest flavors to get right. With the already difficult task of replicating a cigarette, most clove juices are really overpowering. If you're relatively new, you'll most likely find yourself trying out lots of juices and sticking with relatively few of them. When I was starting out I tried mixing some clove with something else and found it just ruined the juice I liked. Hope you are better.

Here
I haven't read any positive reviews of clove flavoured e-juice... Though now looking up "Djarum clove e-liquid" there seems to be positive reviews. I think maybe when vendors list just "clove" as the flavour, it's focused on that spice alone, and not necessarily the taste of clove cigarettes. I don't know the type of clove cigarettes you were used to, and I don't know the type of tobacco/ingredients used in clove cigarettes. Here's a link to some discussion on the forums here, but looks like there's a lot on here too.

I hate searching through all the entries sometimes, but perhaps asking one of those clovers there they might be able to help you too.

Thank you all for the replies. I went up to the drug store and bought some LorAnn flavors to try mixing to see if anything improved it. I also mixed a little with the coffee juice I had and that actually turned out pretty well. If only the coffee one didn't ruin atomizers so quickly.

It's difficult to explain what I meant about the clove flavor. It's not that I was expecting it to taste like a clove cigarette because I've already learned that juices just don't quite capture the cigarette flavor no matter how hard they try. I was just expecting it to taste more like clove...spicy and aromatic...but it's just not. I can taste the clove flavor but it's more sweet and syrup-like flavored...as I said, difficult to explain. It's just not something I could stand to vape for very long without being completely turned off of vaping altogether.

Oh well, if I don't find anything that mixes well with it, at least I know not to bother trying it again. As someone said, I will likely try many different flavors before I settle on just a few that I really like.
