Howdy. I'm another newb here, and have recently ( 3 months ago) started using disposable e-cigs, and a week ago, bought my first non disposable( a clean cigarrette-new Michigan company) I'm having way too much fun with it, although I think I'm getting a little sick off of too much smoking....or vaping on the 36 mg cartomizers. Anyway....I just wanted to say hello and I could use all the tips and tricks y'all are willing to share. Especially if someone can tell me if these gull dern cartomizers are refillable. That would be nice, since they are 17 bucks for a 5 pack.

Wow! Welcome to ECF and welcome into the fold. 36 mg is pretty high! I'd recommend toning down your nic level to 24 or 18 mg. When you start feeling a little jittery and nauseous, that means too much nic. Lower your level and I think you'll find a better resting place. Not sure if those cartos are refillable. Most of us would suggest an eGo type system as the nic, flavor, and vapor delivery is superior.

welcome to the site!

I originally started using the disposable cig-a-like style e-cigs and found them to be a waste of time and money (infact my very first one had the replaceable cartridge cartomisers)> I recently bought an eGo clone with CE5 clearomisers and to be honest im never using the cig-a-like style again! I'd honestly suggest investing in a decent battery and tank combination as they are a million times better. Im not the most qualified person to advise you, but im positive someone will be along to go through the ins and outs of it with you!

Happy vaping!

Hello nice to have you at ECF

I'm not much of a believer in those cig-a-likes, but guess we all been tricked...

your were/are a smoker? 36mg is a bit strong 18-24 is more normal (maybe lower)

I like to suggest this
- Katana Kit
gets your feet wet, learn the ropes, it works then when youtake the next step make a real nice back up

then you always need juice
- Best E Cigarette | Buy Electronic Cigarettes | E Cig Juice - MT Baker Vapor

good luck Vaping :)

Welcome to the forum, glad you're here. There is no way I would continue to pay $17 for those without causing some kind of heart issues. I would suggest browsing through Fasttech.com and find lots of less expensive alternatives. Just my 2:2c: I'm just glad it is working for you. That is all that really matters. Good luck to you and I look forward to reading your future posts. Always someone here for information and support.

Ahhh...OK. Thanks madbrad. Nope. The cartomizer unscrews from battery but nothing unscrews from the cartridge/carto. Dang. I'm an idiot for not asking when I got it.

Take a little screw driver or paperclip, stick it in the hole of the rubber tip of the carto, pry off the rubber tip, if the rubber tip comes out, you can then drip juice into the foam carto, careful not to get any down the center tube, ~20 drops or until saturated, plug the rubber tip back in, and Vape on. Most cartos for cigalikes work like that.

After doing some homework, which I should have done before I bought the CIG, I'm starting to worry that this could be MORE expensive than smoking analogs.......trying to find the right battery/cart combo...the right juices , equipment...etc etc. Cripe. I swear if we could still get flavored cigs in America, I wouldn't even consider quitting. But the flavors....peach,coffee,pina colada.....It's hard to know if its worth it. I realize the beginning is more expensive.....but.
