For me, I take neither CaNNed News or FAUX News seriously. I occasionally enjoy the talking heads on MSNBC, Keith Obermann, Rachel Maddow (rawr), and Chris Matthews. Perhaps that's my liberal leanings although I'm a die-hard Libertarian.
I watch a lot of CSPAN these days. I also watch The Daily Show with Jon Stuart and The Colbert Report for the "lighter side" of the news.
